2.07.2008 Shaping Outcomes Certified for Continuing Education Credits
In Indiana and Illinois, Shaping Outcomes has applied for and received state certification as a course to meet continuing educations requirements for educators. In addition, Columbus (OH) Public Schools has approved S.O. for continuing education requirements in that district. 9.15.2007 New Team Members
Welcome Melissa Moster and Todd Vandenbark, the new Graduate Assistants brought on to help Shaping Outcomes move into its "Continuing Education" phase. Melissa will be serving as the Project Coordinator, providing administrative support. Todd will be providing Technical and Participant Support, answering computer-related questions for instructors and participants, as well as maintaining the Shaping Outcomes Website. 8.15.07 - Shaping Outcomes Into the Future
Shaping Outcomes will be offered as librarian continuing education with the assistance of a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The Indiana University School of Library and Information Science, Indianapolis, is pleased to announce that they will offer the Shaping Outcomes course, beginning in January 2008, primarily to library professionals. The course, accessible from any state and library type, will teach participants the skills needed to design project evaluation suitable for LSTA and other library grant sources. Individual or team participants will pay a fee of $150 for instructor interaction and certificate of completion/skill attainment; IMLS scholarship funds will be available.
